Blanca started her career 16 years ago. She flew as an airline captain on Boeing 737, was instructor on Boeing 767 and flew mixed-fleet transatlantic and medium haul flights. In her spare time, she instructed student pilots in aeroclubs and flight schools.
She started as dispatcher, soon became part of the management and was closely involved in the start-up of now one of the most performant Belgian airlines. As deputy director of flight operations, she was responsible for the lease-in and acceptance of aircraft during the summer season where she gained a lot of technical knowledge in close coordination with the technical engineers.
She worked for several years as project manager for the top management of the TUI Travel Plc Group, being the biggest European tourism group, so she obtained an enormous operational knowledge of airlines.
Since 1998, Blanca has handled many different claims. She is experienced in cargo claims, responsibility claims property and aviation interventions.
After several trainings and master classes in transport and heavy lifting, she uses her aviation knowledge on safety and procedural operation to lead the prevention division. Prevention assignments and especially warranty surveys need a hands-on approach and a lot of management skills to assure all parties involved cooperate to the fullest and make the project safe and successful. This needlessly fits her previous job as an airline captain, where safety, decision-making and firmness are some of the key factors. Next to the on the job interventions, she is frequently asked for consulting assignments to analyses, review and adapt existing procedures or processes all with the intention to prevent losses to the fullest.
Surveying activities and prevention assignments are performed worldwide.
She is fluent in Dutch, French, English, German, Spanish and has a good working knowledge of Portuguese.
Peter is an engineer who started his career in the steam industry, soon he became a technical superintendent at Jan De Nul, one of the world’s leading dredging companies, where he was technical superintendent and maintenance responsible for several major projects around the globe. The expansion project of the Panama canal, the artificial island constructions at Dubai, a LNG project in Papua New Guinea and the development, construction and maintenance of an incinerator in Romania all made him gain an enormous amount of technical and practical experience ranging from quality and safety preventive measures through solving heavy lifting problems.
He further expands his knowledge through a lean six sigma black belt for a leading multinational in the exploration and production of petrol and gas industry.
Peter assists ASA France in prevention and specific project cargo questions where all his operational knowhow is used to ensure the most suitable technical and safe approach is used.
Peter is fluent in French, English and Dutch.
